Message	about. The flaw in your argument is that you assume your rate or your friends rate has not gone up because your trick has worked and the ticket is not on your record. I can almost assuredly say that is not the case. The issuing of the ticket and it being recorded on your driving record is a separate activity from the payment of the fine. Being issued a ticket is similar to being arrested and either not being convicted or having the charges dropped. You will still have an arrest record. Doesn't matter if you paid a few dollars more than the bail amount. By the way did you get a refund check yet for the amount you overpaid?
